Since establishing Winberg Associates 2 months ago, I am delighted to be writing our first blog and report that this has been an exceptionally busy period for us. The UK is currently experiencing a massive surge in real estate investment and London, as the heart of Europe’s real estate boom, is where the majority of real estate firms are now recruiting. Requirements for recruitment and executive search in commercial and residential property have never been stronger as we enter what is now becoming an increasingly candidate-short market, we continually aim to attract talent on behalf of investment managers, private family offices, consultancies, propcos, funds, developers, institutions and banks as they expand. Property/Asset Managers, Fund Managers, Valuation Surveyors, Investment Managers/Surveyors, Agents, Lease Advisory Surveyors, Analysts, Estates Surveyors, Development Managers/Surveyors and Rating/CPO Surveyors are all in high demand and areas that we are currently recruiting in.
It is exciting for us to be able to offer candidates more client-side roles than in previous years as the market continues to recover from the effects of the recession. These roles were previously hard to come by and many candidates have been waiting for the market to turn which represents an exciting time for those looking to move in-house. The residential market is finally recovering while investment in commercial property has always been robust and attracts further investment from foreign investors, particularly from China and the Middle East.
